What to Expect

Step into the FDMA world with a bold, high-visibilty booth anchored by two large-format movie banners and dual monitors. One screen brings our pirate western to life with fully 3D-modeled characters—cinematic, and impossible to ignore. The other showcases Road to Mountainfilm, highlighting the Adventure Film program with rugged visuals, student work, and real-world storytelling from the mountains. It’s designed to be fun to watch, easy to step into, and instantly eye-opening.

How to interact

This is a look-closer booth. Linger, ask questions, and let your curiosity lead. Watch character turntables, short clips, and program highlights loop on the monitors, then dive deeper into how these projects are made—from concept art to final screen. Whether you’re into animation, filmmaking, adventure storytelling, or just want to see what’s possible, this booth invites you to explore and get excited.

Meet the Faculty

Meet the Faculty The booth is staffed by 3D Animation Faculty Lorenzo Lopez, who will be on hand to walk you through the characters, tools, and creative pipeline behind the work. Lorenzo is happy to talk process, programs, and pathways—how students move from learning core skills to building portfolio-ready projects that connect art, technology, and story.
