Brittany Madrid

Brittany Erin Madrid is a Mimbreño member of the Chiricahua Apache Nation. She grew up in Southern New Mexico and attended New Mexico State University, where she began her journey as DJ Foxx on KRUX Radio 91.5 from 2001 to 2004. Madrid started her career in the film and television industry in 2006, appearing in the Screen Gems film Fired Up, which inspired her to join the National Association of Latino Independent Producers through their Latinos Producers Academy.

Driven by a vision to create art through multimedia, she founded her own production company, Madrid Films & Entertainment, LLC, in 2010. Since then, she has produced numerous short films and documentaries. After winning a Famous Monsters in Filmland Award at the Roswell International Film Festival in 2012, she represented the face of Brian Pulido’s La Muerta on a Comic-Con pitch campaign tour.

Madrid helped build the Gallup Film Festival in 2013 and hosted Festival de Cine in Cozumel in 2018. In 2019, she began producing music videos for Cozumel Flow Music, eventually stepping into the recording booth herself which led to the release of her first Spotify EP, “Mystikal Site,” and her first album, “Caguama Cruz.” In 2022, she released the group album “Concrete Rose,” collaborating with solo artists to form the group “Down The Pavement.” Her most recent songs from 2025, “Sin Hacer Nada” and “Blocktime,” reflect her creative evolution as she moves into her latest project for 2026 “Acequias”, which explores local New Mexico Cultural Histories.
